Study Guide Available for Film on Jewish-Catholic Relations

The Interreligious Coordinating Council in Israel (ICCI) has announced the publication of a study guide for the film "I Am Joseph Your Brother," produced by ICCI in cooperation with the United States Conference of Catholic Bishops. The 59-minute film, first shown on American television in 2001, was inspired by the visit of Pope John Paul II to Israel in the year 2000. Through interviews with religious leaders and scholars, the film reviews the steps towards Jewish-Catholic reconciliation since the Second Vatican Council. The new study guide is designed to enhance its use in a variety of educational settings. The film (in English, Hebrew or Italian) and the study guide (English only) are available for purchase for US$40 per set from the ICCI offices in Jerusalem (972-2-561-1899, iccijeru(at)icci.co.il ) or in North America from the National Center for Jewish Film (781-899-7044, ncjf(at)brandeis.edu ).
