Schwartz, G. David

G. David Schwartz (Jewish) is a free-lance writer living in Cincinnati, Ohio. He has a B.A. from the University of Cincinnati and an M.A. in philosophy from Miami University, Oxford, Ohio. Active in local Jewish-Christian discussion groups, he co-chairs the Northern Hills Synagogue tri-logue. Author of A Jewish Appraisal of Dialogue: Between Talk and Theology, (Lanham, Md., University Press of America, 1994), his articles on Jewish-Christian dialogue have appeared in The Journal of Ecumenical Studies, Encounter, New Theology Review, The Jewish Spectator, Midstream, and elsewhere. His paper, "Review: The Big Book of Why" in The Washington Review (December, 1994-January, 1995), is a 1995 nominee for a Pushcart Prize. Schwartz hosts a Jewish Studies forum for TalkCity and is cofounder of Seed House, an interfaith organization which proposes to affect social change by addressing issues which seem insolvable only from a constrained perspective.
