Building an Interfaith Community- Summer Course 2016

Theme: "People and Faith on the Move: Migration in Judaism, Christianity and Islam and its residental component"; from 25 July - 12 August 2016.

The Ecumenical Instute at Bossey organizes once again the summer course on “Building an Interfaith Community” (now CAS in Interreligious Studies) meant to bring together young people from Christian, Jewish and Muslim communites for three weeks. This year the theme of the course is People and Faith on the Move: Migration in Judaism, Christianity and Islam and its residential component runs from 25 July - 12 August 2016.

Intended to contribute to the issues of religious pluralism and intercultural acceptance in a society based on migration and globalization, the CAS in Interreligious Studies aims at an internatioonal audience of young people (age between 20 and 35 years) interested in or are already engaged in interreligious dialogue. These may be religious leaders, students, lay persons and professionals with a suitable level of religious literacy and/or experience in the field of interreligious dialogue and engagement, especially among the three Abrahamic religions.
