The International Catholic-Jewish Liaison Committee has released a Joint Communique on its meeting held in New York City in May 2001 on the theme 'Repentance and Reconciliation'. The communique includes summaries of remarks by Cardinal Edward Cassidy, Cardinal Walter Kaspar, Dr. Eugene Fisher, Rabbi Leon Klenicki, Rabbi Ron Kronish, Professors David Novak, Michael Signer, Lawrence Frizzell, Gerald Fogarty, Michael Marrus, and others. The International Liaison Committee is jointly appointed by the Holy See's Commission for Religious Relations with the Jews, headed by Cardinal Kasper, and the International Jewish Committee for Interreligious Consultations (IJCIC), headed by Seymour D. Reich.
