Violetta Reder is Assistant for Christian-Jewish Relations at the Institute for Ecumenism and Dialogue of the Pontifical Academy of Theology in Kraków, Poland. Her responsibilities have included arranging lectures in Poland of leading American Jewish scholars and facilitating an international interreligious seminar for young scholars. Ms. Reder has translated essays by Rabbis Irving Greenberg, David Novak, and Michael Signer for publication in Polish Catholic periodicals, as well as a book of essays by Prof. Harold Kasimow. She holds MA degrees in English philology (1983) and psychology (1987).
