A History page has been added to this website, telling the story of how the site was founded in 1994 by Fritz B. Voll of Calgary, Alberta, Canada, and how it developed in subsequent years.  Voll, a German emigre, had served since 1983 as Western Regional Director of the Canadian Council of Christians and Jews, and in that capacity became acquainted with many scholars and leaders in the Christian-Jewish dialogue. These contacts plus personal friendships with others in various countries who shared his concerns enabled him to give an international character to the website from the start.  It currently has sections in six languages: English, German, French, Spanish, Portuguese, and Russian.

Voll managed and financed the site on his own from 1994 to 2000, when he entrusted it to the International Council of Christians and Jews, though he continued to serve as webmaster until 2004.  He is currently in the process of relocating to Toronto, Ontario, Canada.  The present editorial team of www.jcrelations.net includes Dr. Franklin Sherman of Allentown, Pennsylvania, U.S.A.; Dr. Christoph Muenz of Greifenstein-Beilstein, Germany; Dr. Markus Himmelbauer of Vienna, Austria; Ms. Silvia Kot of Buenos Aires, Argentina; Fr. Peter von Werden of Cuiabá, Mato Grosso, Brazil; Yuri Tabak of Moscow, Russia; Dr. Edward Kessler of Cambridge, England; Rev. Wolfgang Raupach-Rudnick of Hannover, Germany; Prof. Jean Duhaime of Montreal, Quebec, Canada; and Dr. Philip Matyszak of Cambridge, England (webmaster).
