"Change of Shift" at the International Council of Christians and Jews

The International Council of Christians and Jews held its annual Conference this year in Jerusalem at the "Judean Guesthouse" (Bet Yehuda). The presentations and workshops were this year accompanied by excursions in Israel and the Westbank.

The Annual General Meeting of the ICCJ immediately followed the conference. It elected a new Executive Board of the organization.

Successor of the US-American Catholic Theologian Prof. Dr. John Pawlikowski, who served the Council for many years as its President, will be the Israeli Jewish educator Dr. Deborah Weissman who lives in Jerusalem and is also the Co-chair of the Interreligious Coordinating Council in Israel (ICCI). Vicepresidents will be Rabbi Ehud Bandel, Australia, and the Catholic theologian Dr. Phil Cunningham, USA.

The Executive Board also decided to replace Fritz Voll, Canada, who had filled in for the Managing Editor of this website, Dr. Franklin Sherman, USA, with Dr. Christoph Münz, Germany.
