Cambridge Centre Announces Summer School, Visiting Scholar Programs

?Jewish-Christian Relations in a Multi-Faith World” will be the theme of the Summer School to be held at the Centre for Jewish-Christian Relations in Cambridge, England, from 28 June to 9 July 2004. The course will be taught by Rev. Dr. Martin Forward, co-founder of the Centre and currently Professor of Religious Studies at Aurora University in the U.S.A. The course aims to place Jewish-Christian dialogue in the context of other inter-religious dialogues and relationships, seeking to identify their similarities and differences.

The Centre is also inviting applications for two academic positions: a one-year Junior Lectureship in Jewish-Christian Relations and the Holocaust for the academic year 2004-05, which involves both teaching and research in this field; and a three-month Visiting Fellowship in Interfaith Relations beginning in either January or April 2005. The Visiting Fellowship is designed to be suitable especially for someone with sabbatical leave from a university or similar position.
